| Medicinal Marijuana Statement - April, 1998 |
The Coordinating Committee of the Association of State Green Parties has approved the position submitted by the DC state party regarding medicinal marijuana. The vote was 20-1-1, with 16 states participating in the email vote. "We support the legal reclassification of marijuana to allow its availability in the medical treatment of serious illnesses. We oppose the harassment and prosecution of patients, providers, and physicians who respectively use, provide, or recommend marijuana for the medical treatment of serious illnesses."
